FYI, I use Google Chrome and it flags this site as one that has been found to be dangerous in the past but not in the last 90 days.   I don't think it's a problem but it may be worth checking it out.  I think it's probably related to those spam ads for pharmaceuticals.

Firefox is giving me warnings, too. (Not a surprise since they get their info from Google.)

Here's how to request a review of the site:

Steve, if you want a hand with any of it let me know--

Thanks guys.  I've gotten a bunch of PMs the past few days as well.  I started trying to work through tracking down the source yesterday but can't find enough time to deal with it.

This should be resolved.  What a pain!!  I’m still not sure how they got in but I suspect a vulnerability in the forum software which allowed .php files to be uploaded as attachments to posts.  I’ve scrubbed the many affected files, upgraded to the latest version and changed passwords.  Hopefully that does it.  Google is re-certifying the site but I see that the warning is gone from Chrome.  Please let me know if your choice of browser still reports a risk.

Thank you for your patience, and as always, thanks for your support in the form of useful information and intelligent discussions.

Hmmm... I'm using it now and not getting any warning when I do a Google search.  I wonder why it would be different for me Thinking  Any chance it is related to your local cache?

Yeah maybe cache.  It was still warning me last night but this morning the warning is gone.   I think you've fixed it Steve.

Good!  I got the official all-clear from Google during the night.

I was still getting the warning last night even after clearing the cache but not this am so it appears to have been fixed.  What a pain these things are.

I should have mentioned, there should be no impact on your PC, it was just something that could forward you to other sites where you could click on something bad.  Mostly a nuisance thing, fortunately.  My fault for falling behind on the updates.  Awhile back the host implemented new protection measures on their end which prevented simple upgrades, and I didn't have the patience to deal with it at the time.  I won't make that mistake again because the good guys have a hard time keeping up with the bad guys as it is.  (sound familiar? Wink )

By the way, the current version FINALLY recognizes URLs in posts and displays them as links so you don't have to tag them yourself.  A small think, but I've noticed that very few people tagged their links.  I've also slightly increased the effort to register but still don't require admin approval.  Hopefully that will reduce the spammers but if not I may be forced to go with approvals.

I was on safari this weekend and it would not let me login and gave the warning, by the end of the weekend it worked fine.
